Overview

A web version of Raja Wazir Chor Sipahi — the card game every Indian kid played at some point. Power cuts, school trips, family gatherings. The full design is done. Multiplayer backend is still being built.

Context

I kept thinking about how this game doesn't exist online in any form worth playing. It's one of those things that entire generations grew up with and it's slowly disappearing. I wanted to preserve it properly — not just as a novelty but as something you'd actually want to play with friends. The visual direction is inspired by old Indian playing card packaging. Bold colours, flat illustration, textures that feel like holding actual cards. Character illustrations were generated with ChatGPT and refined in Figma. The design is done. The dev is in progress — finding time between everything else.
